Cindy joins the Red Cup gang
This month Cindy Sasha joins the Red Cup gang as Sales and Marketing executive, this basically means she will be Joe’s sidekick around London, so watch out for red capes flying in and out of tall storey buildings. Cindy comes from an arty farty background and her first job was working at Addison Design Graphics at the age of 16 on the Bob Hoskin BT Advert, “It’s good to talk”! Cindy then went on to work for Creation Records having beers with Liam Gallagher, on late Friday afternoons during the Brit Pop phenomena and moved on to working for Universal Pictures and various post houses in Soho. Jeremy saw something tenacious and refreshing in Cindy and brought her on board to help Red Cup get London domination for 2010. Cindy will be supporting the sales team and assisting Jeremy on some guerrilla marketing campaigns to target the kettle offices!
Does anyone know the way to San Remo?
Jeremy has only gone and decided to get more elite sexy coffee machines for the Red Cup range, hopefully adding the San Remo collection! Taking a keen interest in their barista coffee machines, he has organised a trip to Devon, (not San Remo in Italy) for the sales team to have a butchers and to feel the excitement Jeremy gets every time he says the word San Remo. Our only main concern is that the Sales team don’t end up hijacking the Ambrosia factory and looking like the cats that got the cream. With the San Remo machines on the Red Cup line, it will enable the company to move into the hotel and restaurant sector. It will make Red Cup put the sweats on other coffee service companies, as we will be offering in-house barista training to our clients and continuous high level support in technical and hygiene.
Trees for Cities and Life Water
Red Cup has become corporate partners with Trees for Cities and Life Water, wanting to help businesses in London to achieve their corporate social responsibility, so every time your company buys a coffee machine from us, we will plant one tree in London, “buy one get one tree” ( a few trees)! We have already got the thumbs up from our friend Jon Snow, who is a patron of the charity. Also we have joined forces with Life Water, who is a non-profit organisation who provides water bottles into offices, hotels and restaurants. All profits go back to helping developing countries with a water crisis. Red Cup will donate a percentage of sales from our water machines to Life Water and present our customers with a certificate to show their dedication for supporting such a good cause. You can find both charity links on our website, where you can read in more details in what the charities do and why we decided to get involve. For 2010 next year watch out for an exclusive competition we will be holding to win two tickets to the gig of your choice at KOKO, in Camden.
And not to forget Good Origins
Once again this is all part of Red Cup becoming a strong ethical coffee company. You , yes you our loyal customers can now track where your beans are from by just typing the code from your good origins coffee packet into their website where you can track the bean all the way to the actual farmer who farmed your tasty jumping coffee beans in your red delicious cup! Check out the “good origins” website: http://www.utzcertified.org
More sales for 2009
As 2009 almost comes near and we are still pulling in the sales and it seems that the city of London is slowly recovering from the coffee crunch. We have just won a few sales with Hitachi Consultants, QP Insurance and the Football Foundation. More in the coffee line, Joe is out there in his Santa’s hat getting companies to self indulge in a coffee machine for personal pleasure.
Redcup - Official Douwe Egberts Distributor
Redcup has been appointed the official distributor for Douwe Egberts coffee in London.
We see this as a fantastic opportunity to increase our foothold in the foodservice and hospitality areas and can now offer our passion for service in hotels, restaurants, conference centers, coffee bars and any other place you can think of that would love a great coffee experience.
Tony Smith, area manager for Douwe Egberts says “we chose Redcup to be our official distributor and service partner for all our out of home clients in London because we love their passion for service, we are really impressed with how they run their business and we need a local company that can provide the flexibility that larger organizations struggle to do”
We will be updating our website soon highlighting all of our new products and services. We really believe we can now offer a one stop service for all environments with the option of a major brand behind us.
